Lameque Island is in the North East corner of New Brunswick Canada and is link by a bridge to the mainland.  The area have the warmest waters north of Virginia and the Carolina’s and is a very nice place for vacation or full time living.  Close to Maine, PEI, Nova Scotia.  Fly in at Moncton or Fredericton international airports or privately to the local runway.

There are two driveways, one can be used to park your RV it has a 30A circuit for it.  We used to park our fifth wheel in there.
  About the area: New Brunswick is a bilingual (English/French) province. The population of the island is about 2500 people, the town is Lameque at about 11 km (7 miles) from the house, it has a fairly large grocery store, hospital, a couple of service station, library, etc. Just of the bridge to the mainland, at about 20 min from the house is the town of Shippagan, it is a small university town with most services. After that you have Tracadie 35 min., Miramichi 70 min. and Bathurst 70 min. (Air Canada fly to Bathurst).  

Property taxes are about $460/year if it is your primary residence or about $920/year if it is your secondary residence.   Our cost for insurance is $610/year.  Electricity is about $2,000/year living there year round (heating in winter and A/C in summer) or about $35/month if nobody is there.  There are no association fees but we do chip in $20/year with the neighbors to maintain the street; the other fees are optional like phone, TV, and alarm monitoring.
